LORA’S FOOD BOOSTS

 Here at LL we are developing a range of fruit and vegetable-based food boosts, all organic ingredients, and all dog safe. Choose from a selection of pre-and custom-made powders and blends that you can turn into 

smoothies, 

dog ‘ice creams’ and lollies (fruity powders), 

pastes and gravies (veggie powders) 

or herbal powders given as they come

MARCH 2021 RELEASE: OUR GOLDEN POWDER SUPERFOOD CAN NOW BE BOUGHT IN THE HEALTH PACK! 

Golden powder/ paste is a cheap, safe and organic way to help with joint and muscle pain, arthritis, inflammatory conditions in general, skin/allergens, infections from chewing, fresher breath and digestion. Brilliant aid for a decompressing dog whose health is all out of whack as they settle in, or for a general tonic and tummy and skin relaxer, you pay mad prices in the shops. We have it in glass pantry jars and refills for the most eco friendly approach.

 LORA’S PAW

When Lora first came to us, she was in a bad state. Her worst injury was her front right paw- with one claw totally gone and the middle pad swollen and nail badly deformed from compensating for the damage, it took a lot of time and care till she could enjoy her walks without limping or pain. 

So when we decided to use our experience to develop our our kit for dogs, it made sense to name it after our girl’s injuries and subsequent recovery.

So here we have a full first aid kit for your dog! (And we’re looking into new products all the time.)

From child lock safety pins to no pain or low sting products for when those accidents happen, we have carefully tried and tested many products. While some are single use they can be recycled and we have avoided as many non recyclable products as possible. We aim to move to 100% recyclable/ compostable/ biodegradable/ reusable/sustainable and have with most of our ranges, but medical supplies by their very nature have to contain substances that don’t always reboot well.

Perfect for the dog on the go- for walks and camping holidays and hikes, to keep in the car (legally you are supposed to have a first aid kit and a warning triangle in your car) or in a drawer at home, we also sell refills and single items and send all items with as low packaging as posting regulations and parcel integrity will allow.

Not all kits are created equal! ALL our supplies are approved by the NHS, DEFRA or St John’s Ambulance. So everything in our packs is also suitable for human use.

Our first aid products are also EU approved food grade and organic if a herbal blend.

First aid kits should not replace vet care. If you dog has a serious injury, immediately contact your vet.

LORA’S PRECAUTIONS

All sorts of hazards that aren’t just medical or nutritional face dogs and dog owners these days, and it’s mostly down to human greed. With dog snatching on the rise for baiting, breeding or selling on in response to a tsunami of people wanting a dog for lockdown, or a certain look or breed of dog, we have a developing rage of products to help with your dog and your personal safety when out and about, and for when they are in your gardens (dogs are being snatched for gardens too-please do not leave your dog unattended! And NEVER let your dog sleep outside overnight ones you’re camped out there too!). 

And bearing in mind some dogs can also be escape artists, especially if you’ve adopted an ex street dog, having these on their collars or harnesses could help find them/faster (we also ensure all dogs have Premium Petlog registration so you can use their lost dog service too.)

Even more useful when your dog is black and has ended up in a bush! (We also sell reflective starter harnesses.)

Screw locking carabiners for double securing leads, whistles (not for training- thieves can use whistles to call your dog, ONLY use whistles as a warning sound), torches and much more!  

  LORA’S LAUNDER 

A complete care range for your dog’s outer and inner well being. From super soft towels and low sensory soft brushes and tail, undercoat and curry combs, basic grooming is great to start to connect with your decompressing dog!

It means you\re not touching them directly (leave this till they start to come to you) and grooming is what their mum would do so it releases ‘good hormones’ into their systems. 

Good for calming overstimulated ketted dogs and settling lava dogs. From eco friendly and basic products (in case of chewing!) all the way through to professional grooming tools once your dog feels settled with being groomed, and for dogs large and small, short and long haired.

Grooming your dog also releases happy chemicals in humans!

 LORA’S WALKS

Always be prepared on a walk, hike or dog friendly holiday! 

From pocket sized to something you can have in a drawer for emergencies at the holiday venue, we have a huge and growing range of things for your dog and to make life easier for you too. Waking tins and wallets with a basic kit in of poo bags hand sanitiser and a tick remover (and more!) as well as travel bottles and bowls that take up much less space in the car, bag or rucksack. Never get caught out without poo bags again, or resort to having to wipe your hand on the grass should that unpleasant feeling that happens to us all happen to you- you put your finger through a poo bag….

You can mix and match with our first aid kits and herbals to create your own custom doggy care kits in and out of the home! We also have growing range of ‘dog cards’ that are wallet sized should the worst happen and you need someone to go and get your dog, or if they get lost, a handy picture ID care to show people what your dog looks like.
